The NMS 1431, released by Philips, is a 9-pin dot matrix printer with letter quality and the international MSX character set. It is the successor to the VW 0030. The main difference between the two printers is the print speed. The VW 0030 has a print speed of 100 CPS, while the NMS 1431 has a speed of 120 CPS.
