Rain Shower was released on August 9, 1983 as part of the Multi Screen series. The handheld console has a left screen and a right screen and opens like a book. The game was included in Game & Watch Gallery 4 for Game Boy Advance.
In the game, there are clothes hanging out on a line to dry. However, rain from above will make the clothes wet. The player has to move the four clotheslines to move the clothes out of the way of the raindrops coming down.
The Game & Watch Gallery version features Mario characters as well as enhanced graphics. In this version, Bowser is the one throwing water balloons down. Instead of clothes, Mario must save various characters such as Luigi, Toad and Yoshi.
