Nintendo Mario Bros Game & Watch
Mario Bros. is a multi-screen Game & Watch video game starring Mario and Luigi. It marks the debut of Luigi. The Multi Screen unit is held aside in the same way as reading a book. The game was released by Nintendo in 1983 and although it has the same name as Mario Bros. in the arcades, the game is not based on it, but actually comes before the arcade version. Nintendo produced 1,000,000 units of the game worldwide. The model number of the game is MW-56. The M stands for Mario, although it is unclear what the W stands for. The game's box contained the game unit, two LR44 batteries, an instruction booklet, and battery stickers.

The Game & Watch series was a line consisting of 59 handheld, portable electronic LCD games originally designed by Gunpei Yokoi and manufactured by Nintendo from 1980 to 1991. Each contained only one game that could be played on the LCD screen in addition to a clock and alarm clock. Some of the titles available in the Game & Watch series were Mickey Mouse, Balloon Fight and multiple Nintendo successes including Donkey Kong, The Legend Of Zelda and Mario Brothers. However, the announced game Tetris Jr. was never released.
