Laser Turbo XT‑2

The Laser Turbo XT and XT-2 were not just an IBM PC clone, but the Ultimate XT!

The computer was a 100% compatible IBM PC XT clone where the processor could handle the turbo speed of 10 MHz. Delivered as standard with 512 KB of RAM, which could be expanded to 640 KB.

Internally, in addition to the parallel and serial connections, there was also a battery on the mainboard and 1 MB of EMS memory. The image was CGA or monochrome. Optionally, 1 or 2 hard disks of 20, 30 or 40 MB could be installed, in addition to the standard 2 5.25" 360 KB diskette drives.

A luxury product was the lock (security) on the front, which prevents the keyboard from functioning when it is locked. Also quite unique was a hard reset button on the back.

We are told that models have also been supplied with an Intel 8086.
