The Acer Ferrari 3000 is a special edition Acer laptop, released during Ferrari's 2005 Formula One season.
Scuderia Ferrari - the motorsport division of the Italian car manufacturer - participated in Formula One, the world championship in motorsport sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), in 2005. One of the official suppliers of the racing team was Acer and one of the team sponsors was AMD. Acer, together with an AMD processor, produced this laptop to celebrate one of the team's grand prix victories of the season.
The Ferrari 3000 was fully designed with the Ferrari team colours and sponsors in mind. It is coloured bright red and has the famous 'Prancing Horse' logo pictured on the laptop numerous times. The laptop also includes a matching computer mouse.
Tragically for Ferrari, the 2005 F1 season did not end well for them. Renault won the constructors' title and Fernando Alonso won the world championship.
